Well… Maybe a little messy on some parts, but I think it’s a good result for coloring with COPIC markers for the first time.
Yep, not so long ago I bought COPIC markers and I wanted to try them. Coloring with those markers is a little tricky, but the result is sooo good and I really like coloring with them.
I’m using COPIC paper, and it’s rather thin therefore it’s very easy to damage the paper. So I start with sketch on regular printing paper, then I draw clean outline with gel pen (using pigment pen/liners/however they called on this stage is kinda waste of permanent ink, and gel pens are way much cheaper). And then I transfer my outline onto the COPIC paper. It works like tracing light table or tracing light box, but I don’t have any, so I use my desk lamp and a big piece of transparent plastic I have. =з= I’m starting with a very subtle pencil outline and then I outline the picture with pigment liners (this time without all that lighting stuff).
Those words on the picture are from "Time For Tea" by Emilie Autumn. I think this song suits Alice from Alice: Madness Return. I didn’t mention the first game because of all that “revenge” stuff.
